THE MONUMENT FOR THE HOLY SOULS is being planned at present. As we promised earlier this year, it will be situated where the big mound was in the eastern cemetery and will be ready for All Souls Day.
It is one of our ways of honouring the holy dead of Long Tower.
THE ENROLMENT OF YOUR DECEASED LOVED ONES in the Mass to bless the new monument is now available for £1.00 per person.
It is not possible to inscribe the name on the monument itself but their enrolment in its induction will ensure that their souls get many prayers down the years. This will also assist with the cost of erecting the monument and provide a fitting commemoration for the centenary of Long Tower.
